Our founder, Josiah Lamp, scoured the globe in search for rare and exotic Smoking Lamps. His travels carried him to far-off lands where he met princes and paupers, rajahs and thieves, trading and smoking lamps with as much of humanity as he could find.

Josiah’s personal collection of Smoking Lamps from around the world were on display in the Union Square Lamp Factory during his lifetime, but the sheer weight of the many glass instruments caused the factory floor to buckle.

Now, the Union Square Lamp company is selling off Josiah’s  collection directly to you, the customer and Smoking Lamp connoisseur (no museums allowed!)
